Overview
We’re seeking a reliable and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant to help manage daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will handle both payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. This role offers flexibility for both part-time and full-time availability.
Responsibilities
Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
Prepare and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment documents
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date financial records and assist with month-end closings
Support payroll and expense reporting as needed
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments about billing and payments
Generate simple financial summaries or reports when requested
Qualifications
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or data entry preferred (entry-level candidates are welcome)
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, or similar software
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a flexible schedule environment
