The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Healthcare Systems Bureau/National Hansen’s Disease Program is seeking a Physician to serve as a staff clinician in Baton Rouge, LA.

What You’ll Do
As a Physician (Hansen’s Disease), you will:
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with Hansen’s disease and other complex medical conditions while supporting the daily operations of the clinic.
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans that address both the physical and mental health needs of your patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
Serve as a clinical research liaison, partnering with internal and external organizations to advance scientific knowledge and contribute to publications in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Teach and mentor medical students, interns, residents, fellows, and practicing physicians through both short- and long-term educational programs.
Contribute your clinical expertise to improve patient outcomes, strengthen public health initiatives, and advance the understanding and treatment of Hansen’s disease.
