The Mental Health Center is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their team. This position will be responsible for administering both voluntary and court-ordered psychological evaluations to youth (birth to 17) and/or adults. Fluency in Spanish and/or Somali is desired.

The Mental Health Center (MHC) is a state-licensed outpatient clinic and part of Hennepin County’s Public Health Clinical Services. The Mental Health Center’s team of support and provider professionals provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services to adults with serious mental illness as well as those with co-occurring substance use disorders. Additionally, the Mental Health Center serves children, adolescents, and families, many of whom are involved with other county programs. Our progress toward CCBHC certification allows us to advance our goals of service excellence and the provision of personalized, coordinated, equitable care for persons we serve. We are growing; we’re expanding our team as well as our services.

Candidates who are interested in the National Health Service Corps should know that the Mental Health Center is designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA). Need to have:

Graduate degree in psychology and an approved clinical internship in the area of specialization.
Certified as a psychological practitioner or eligible within 18 months for certification as a licensed psychologist in the State of Minnesota.
