Associate Dean of Admissions and Enrollment

New York University’s School of Global Public Health (NYU GPH) seeks an experienced, innovative, and data-driven enrollment leader to serve as the Associate Dean of Admissions and Enrollment. Reporting to Dean Debra Furr-Holden, PhD and serving as a member of the Dean’s cabinet, the Associate Dean will be responsible for engineering a sophisticated strategic enrollment plan for the school’s graduate portfolio. In partnership with internal and external stakeholders, they will design a multi-year strategy that will align with articulated enrollment goals of a portfolio of graduate, doctoral, and certificate programs. Leading a team of 4 full time staff, they will serve as the chief enrollment officer for the school and will develop systems and processes that will advance the enrollment operations. In the context of a highly interdisciplinary and solutions driven organization, the Associate Dean will serve as a key ambassador of the academic programs and their global impact.
As a data-informed and experienced enrollment management leader, the Associate Dean will leverage best-practice, landscape data, and CRM analytics to define a multi-faceted and long-term admissions strategy for the NYU GPH. They will bring an innovative approach to assessing market conditions and will address current and future objectives for admissions, diversity, and financial aid in a competitive graduate enrollment market. The Associate Dean will identify robust recruitment opportunities, international partnerships, business relationships, and support the development of 4+1 and 3+2 pipelines. In collaboration with the NYU GPH communication team and external vendors, the Associate Dean leads the development of an annual integrated marketing and communications plan to promote NYU GPH in a national and international context, including development of relevant visitation programs and off-campus presentations.
The Associate Dean of Admissions and Enrollment will be an experienced, collaborative, and innovative enrollment professional with the strong ability to articulate and inspire others to achieve an ambitious enrollment strategy for NYU GPH. They have an understanding of and experience with the global health and graduate student landscape and are compelled by the opportunity to develop admissions and financial aid strategies for a growing organization. The Associate Dean is driven by collaboration with academic partners, external constituents, and the ability to bring forth operational innovation.
